Science and ‘truth’ are different modalities of knowledge. For each of the proposed building blocks of the architecture of the mental apparatus which were my objects of study so far – the signifier, repression, the primary and secondary processes, jouissance and the compulsion to repeat – I propose a scientific reading (“science”) and truth revealing testimonies (“vérité”). This is to show, in the end, that science helps us to understand what we know already.

I am a bachelor student in Psychology in Universiteit Leiden, Nederland.
I’ve found your website through the link posted on NPSA’s webpage.
It said that there are weekly meetings open for students.
I wonder if I could make a visit to one of those.
I would love to know more about your practice.
I will leave my phone number and e-mail below:
Dear Joon Kim, please write me at Ariane.Bazan@ulb.ac.be, thanks, Ariane
